God is Faithful

Meditate. Think about your relationship with God. He is faithful to you. Are you faithful to Him?

I will sing of the LORD's unfailing love forever! Young and old will hear of your faithfulness. Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens. The LORD said, "I have made a covenant with David, my chosen servant. I have sworn this oath to him: 'I will establish your descendants as kings forever; they will sit on your throne from now until eternity.'" All heaven will praise your great wonders, LORD; myriads of angels will praise you for your faithfulness. For who in all of heaven can compare with the LORD? What mightiest angel is anything like the LORD? The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God. He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne. O LORD God of Heaven's Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O LORD? You are entirely faithful. Psalm 89:1-8

Faithful meaning steadfast, steady, truthful and firm. God is faithful to His word. He stands by His promises and fulfills them. He is more reliable than anyone. Even the angels are awe of Him and praise Him. Those who love the Lord praise Him for His faithfulness.

He (a Levite named Jahaziel) said, "Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid! Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's. ... Early the next morning the army of Judah went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. On the way Jehoshaphat stopped and said, "Listen to me, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed." After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the LORD and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang: "Give thanks to the LORD; his faithful love endures forever!" At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the LORD caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves. ... When all the surrounding kingdoms heard that the LORD himself had fought against the enemies of Israel, the fear of God came over them. So Jehoshaphat's kingdom was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side. 2 Chronicles 20:15, 20-22, 29-30 (Underlined for emphasis.)

God is faithful. He takes care of His chosen people…whether they are Jews or Gentiles.

Praise the LORD! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 106:1

God is good…He is faithful.

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Lamentations 3:22

But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Do you love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength? God loves you. The next move is yours to choose. Go to Him…if you love Him, want to serve Him, and if you want a relationship with Him.

So the LORD must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help. Isaiah 30:18

While there is still time, choose whom you will serve. God or Satan. While there is still time, choose where you will ultimately live. Heaven or Hell.

Prayer ~ A psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous. Psalm 143:1

Verse of Salvation ~ To the woman who poured perfume on Jesus’ feet… And Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." Luke 7:50

Friday’s Feast at the King’s Table
Today was my Mom’s birthday. She was a faithful follower—although she has now been “sleeping” as Jesus referred to those who have died, waiting for the Lord’s return for more than twenty-four years. Mom loved pineapple and she loved cake. In her recipe file, I found this cake recipe on which to create a heavenly feast.

¾ cup white sugar.
