Meditate on God’s fairness.
If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world? Romans 3:6
We should be glad that the Lord will judge
everyone fairly. We all deserve Hell.
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short
of God's glorious standard. Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free
gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
He expects us to be obedient to His Word…to the laws and commandments given not only to the Israelites…but to us, too. God is perfect…in all ways…just as Moses wrote in the verse below.
He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is! Deuteronomy 32:4
Tell all the nations, "The LORD
reigns!" The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. He will judge all peoples
fairly. Psalm 96:10
So, how does this knowledge of God’s fairness impact you, your life, and your relationship with God? The choice is always yours—choose today whom you will serve. How will you serve?
Prayer ~ Lord God, thank you for being fair—for loving everyone the same…and for judging all mankind with equal weight. We trust You.
Verse
of Salvation ~ For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On the
day of salvation, I helped you." (Isaiah 49:8) Indeed, the "right
time" is now. Today is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2
