All Powerful

God is omnipotent—all powerful. Consider that as you seek to know more about God today.

O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! You show unfailing love to thousands, but you also bring the consequences of one generation's sin upon the next. You are the great and powerful God, the LORD of Heaven's Armies. ... "I am the LORD, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?" Jeremiah 32:17-18, 27

So we are whole week into this New Year and new focus on seeking to know God more fully. Do you feel like you know Him any better than you did even a month ago? Why or Why Not?

Life is what we make of it. In our commitment to God, our family, friends, neighbors, employers, employees, and even to ourselves, we ultimately recognize that God is all powerful…not us. Nothing is too hard for Him! We can ask of Him, in His mercy, that He uses His power to miraculously help and heal our loved ones—those among the thousands that He shows His unfailing love. That is the one thing we ask for…that we seek…mercy and love. In that, nothing is too hard for God. Whether it is a political situation or a health issue with a loved one, nothing is too difficult for God. Our country is on the brink of overwhelming change as we go through a transition of political leaders. We don’t know the outcome, but we can rely on God to be with us through it all. He has promised that He will never abandon us…never leave us or forsake us. I’ll take that promise.

Even for a prickly cactus, there is hope.
Hope of a bloom after winter rains.
Hope of a new tomorrow.
Our Hope is in the Lord Jesus.
Nothing is too difficult for God.

For loved ones facing challenges there is always hope. Hope yeilds an outcome that in one way or another we will all end up in the arms of our Savior. Peace, hope, love, strength…as well as abounding joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are all ours as the fruit of the Spirit from God. That fruit is His blessing for us. These are opposite of the evils of the world and fear. Fear is not real—it is only in our imagination. Fear is a choice. No fear for those who love the LORD with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. Nothing is impossible for God…even granting no fear to who love Him.

Prayer ~ LORD God, have mercy on those who are struggling with new diagnosis and the extremes of procedures to cure them. Thank You, Jesus, for Your peace, strength, hope and love. Nothing is too hard for You.

Verse of Salvation ~ After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven shouting, "Praise the LORD! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.Revelation 19:1

The LORD God is the great and powerful God. Nothing is too hard for Him!
