This is a perfect day to Meditate on who God is and your relationship with Him.
God declares Himself to be the Almighty One
in this scripture from Revelation and as El-Shaddai— God Almighty to Abraham
and to Moses.
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am El-Shaddai—God Almighty. Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life." Genesis 17:1
And God said to Moses, "I am Yahweh—'the LORD.' I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El-Shaddai—'God Almighty'—but I did not reveal my name, Yahweh, to them.
Exodus 6:2-3He is God Almighty—all powerful, loving, and
comforting. Angels in Heaven also declare that He is the Almighty One.
Each of these living beings had six wings,
and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day
and night after night they keep on saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord
God, the Almighty—the one who always was, who is, and who is still to
come." Revelation 4:8
Do you declare that God is the Almighty One…the
Alpha and the Omega? What difference will this make in your relationship with
the Lord? Do you feel in the least intimidated by talking to…praying to the
Almighty God—our eternal God? Do you think you could worship Him in Heaven just
as the angels do? Are you living in the shelter of the Most High and finding
rest in His shadow?
Those who live in the shelter of the Most
High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the
LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
Psalm 91:1-2
He is my God…and I trust Him.
Prayer ~ I will praise you forever, O God, for what you have done. I will trust in your good name in the presence of your faithful people. Psalm 52:9
Verse of Salvation ~ As Jacob blessed his sons, he said...I trust in you for salvation, O LORD! Genesis 49:18
