Meditate.
Don't let the excitement of youth cause you to forget
your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, "Life
is not pleasant anymore." Ecclesiastes 12:1
How’s life? Are you in your youth…or do you feel like you
are growing old? Hopefully, you aren’t saying, "Life is not pleasant
anymore." I’ve visited some
nursing homes in the last twenty years—mostly to see my husband’s elderly
aunts—and some of them are very sad places. People sitting in their
wheelchairs in the hallways just waiting…waiting for someone to come visit
them. And sadly…no one comes. For them…"Life is not pleasant
anymore." The odor of such
homes is occasionally overpowering—the smell of death. Do those sweet old
ladies and gentlemen know the Lord? We can only hope that they do…or did.
Morning Glory. Blooming in Jerusalem. Will we see fresh flowers to bring God glory... in the New City of Jerusalem? Do not forget your creator! |
Prayer ~ Thank You, Jesus, for being my Messiah—my Savior,
my Lord, my Creator—the King of kings and Lord of lords. Come quickly, Jesus.

past, bringing salvation to the earth. Psalm 74:12
