Prayer – Lord, May all that I do—even all that I think and say…as well as eat…bring glory and honor to You—my Lord and my Savior. Show me what I can do to honor You.
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do
it all for the glory of God. Don't give offense to Jews or Gentiles or the
church of God. I, too, try to please everyone in everything I do. I don't just
do what is best for me; I do what is best for others so that many may be saved.
1 Corinthians 10:31-33
Meditate. Consider how you glorify God.
Worship God...no matter where you are. Give Him glory. Honor Him with your thoughts, words, and actions. Sit under a lone tree and meditate on God. This lone tree was on a hillside in Israel. |
From then on Jesus
began to preach, "Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of
Heaven is near." Matthew 4:17
God’s Kingdom was near then…and it is near now. As near as
acceptance of Jesus Christ as one’s own personal Savior. As near as seeking and
serving the Lord daily in your relationship with Him. As near as doing
everything for the glory of God.
Verse of Salvation ~ Help us, O God of our salvation!
Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honor
of your name. Psalm 79:9
Memory Verse of the Week ~ So whether you eat or
drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1
