Hear Our Prayers

Prayer – Lord, hear our prayers.

May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your prayers. Psalm 20:5

Meditate and pray. Pray for the lost and the families and friends of those left behind.

Time for Tea in Heaven with D.

Our God is an awesome God. Thanking Him for hearing prayers and healing some very precious people. And then…it is hard to hear of the loss of life of others…that their life was cut short. When I first moved to the Tri-Cities, here in Washington State, I met a wonderful Christian lady at the church I attended. Although hospitality is not high on my list of spiritual gifts, I learned a few pointers of being a gracious hostess from this dear lady. She moved away from here a few years ago, but I still love her dearly. Now she is at home in Heaven…resting with our Lord and Savior, because she long ago became a believer and was a devoted follower of Jesus. She had such great insights into the Lord because she had a deep and abiding relationship with Him—and was one of those Christians who just seemed to glow. The light of Jesus truly shone from her face.

It wasn’t time yet for another dear young man to meet our maker, but my neighbor, Sean, gave up living in this hot environment and crossed over—I hope to be with our Lord. I don’t actually know where he stood with the Lord—although I know he had respect for and loved Jesus in his own way. He had been searching. Did he hear Jesus knocking on the door of his heart…and did he invite Jesus to come in? Did he find peace and contentment with the Lord? I don’t think he found enough peace…because life was too much…too overwhelming for him. But what about those he left behind? How does a three-year old cope with losing his father? Is it all we can to pray? Lord, hear our prayers.

Verse of Salvation ~ Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Revelation 3:20

Memory Verse of the Week ~ So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 NLT
