Let your light shine before men in such a
way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in
heaven. Matthew 5:16
The Holy Spirit always glorifies The Heavenly
Father and His Son, Jesus. Worthy is the Lamb…Praise be to God the Father. The
Holy Spirit is very humble. Without Him—the Holy Spirit—we wouldn’t know God
the Heavenly Father or Jesus, The Son of God…who is almighty God Himself. What
a concept. The Holy Spirit is not only our comforter, He is our teacher and our
reminder. Our helper at every curve in the highway…along the straight or narrow
road.
We’ve just had a full moon—glorious and
shining. Is that the way we let our light shine for Jesus? Like the children’s
song…don’t put your light under a bushel basket—let your light shine until
Jesus comes.
Prayer
~ Holy Spirit—help me to let my light shine —my enthusiasm for Jesus to be
evident to all—to go forth as a bold light into a hurting, untrusting world.
May all that I do be seen as a positive action…and draw other to Him.
