Above all else I want to stay in the
presence of God—of the Holy Spirit. Life can be lonely—whether in a room filled
with people, when just in the presence of one person, or when truly solitary. But
life is void when in the absence of God. There is no meaning without God. Some
people may argue about that—but our lives are either for God or against Him.
There is no middle ground. Just
emptiness—or fullness. I choose fullness for my life. Give me God—a full
measure packed tightly and overflowing with His generous grace, loving mercy,
forgiveness and above all, love.
Prayer
~ Holy Spirit, don’t send me away from Your presence. I long to be filled with
Your love, joy, peace, patience, and goodness.
