The Pharisees were told that they wouldn’t
be able to find Jesus—but He tells those who follow Him…
You will seek Me and find Me when you search
for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
So I say to you, ask, and it will be given
to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Luke
11:9
Look for Jesus and you’ll find Him…believe.
The Holy Spirit guides us as we seek Jesus. The Pharisees were not seeking
Jesus in truth, but to find a way to kill him. We should seek Jesus in all
honesty and truth—wanting to know Him in spirit and in truth. I will remember my song in the night; I will
meditate with my heart, and my spirit ponders…Psalm 77:6. My soul is
rejoicing—seeking and finding Jesus. I meditate on Him…on His word, day and
night that I would continually find Him…and know Him more deeply. But seek first His kingdom and His
righteousness, and all these things (everything we need) will be added to you. Matthew 6:33. How about you? What or who are you
seeking first in your life?
Prayer
~ Holy Spirit, I’m seeking You first in my life—show me the way I should think,
speak, and act that I would please You in all that I do. I rejoice in knowing
Christ…in knowing You.
