Praised by Everyone

Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit's power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region. He taught regularly in their synagogues and was praised by everyone.  Luke 4:14-15 NLT

                                       

Filled with the Holy Spirit…. Jesus didn’t just do things on His own—He yielded His will and His way to the Holy Spirit. After He’s been out in the wilderness and tempted by the devil, He began His ministry—with the power of the Holy Spirit. People throughout Galilee heard about Jesus. News travels fast—especially good news. Jesus was just teaching…not yet healing. His teaching was encouraging to everyone. He read scripture that in Nazareth that prophesied His ministry (Luke 4:18). This was before the Pharisees started attacking Him--His teaching and His character. People were amazed at His teaching. Are we amazed? I am amazed at Jesus’ teachings. He fulfilled Old Testament prophesy. I have upmost respect for Jesus…His teaching and miracles…for Him. He is my Lord and Savior. Like the people in Galilee…I praise Him.     

 

Prayer ~ Holy Spirit, I praise You for filling Jesus…for filling and guiding each of us that we would have an understanding and appreciation for the wisdom and teachings of Jesus. I praise You for His Love…for Your Love.
