God is Seeking Worshipers

But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23-24

Worship Him…in spirit and truth. God is spirit. He is Spirit—the Holy Spirit. God is the Spirit, as well as the Father God, and Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The time is here…worship. Worship is all about God…giving Him our total attention, love and adoration. Let the truth be in our hearts…our voices and actions. Worship isn’t about us…it is about God. When I have total focus on God and abandon my own feelings and agenda—then I truly worship God. Are you a true worshiper? Do you worship in spirit and truth? God is looking for people to earnestly and honestly worship Him.
Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! Your enemies cringe before your mighty power. Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs." Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles He performs for people!  Psalm 66:3-5 NLT.

I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak His praises. I will boast only in the LORD; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the LORD's greatness; let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:1-3 NLT
Yes—let’s worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth—together.

Prayer ~ Holy Spirit, I worship You, my God, with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength. You alone are worthy of praise and adoration. Everyday…not just on Sundays and holidays. In my heart and with my voice I sing praise to You—My Lord and My God.

Friday’s Feast at the Lord’s Table
This is the pumpkin time of the year. These roasted pumpkin seeds are tasty…and my grandkiddos could hardly get enough of them!

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
1 ½ to 2 cups raw Pumpkin Seeds
2 Tbsp Butter, melted or vegetable oil, liquid or spray
Seasonings of choice:
            Garlic Powder
            Smoked Paprika
            Chili Powder
            Cumin
            Cinnamon
            1 Tbsp Honey or Sugar
Salt, Kosher or regular table salt.

Remove the seeds from the pumpkin. Wash off the major strings and pulp. Boil the seeds in lightly salted water for 10 minutes. This makes them crisper and make the hulls easier to digest, so you don’t have to hull them.

Drain and dry off the pumpkin seeds. Mix the seasonings of choice in a large plastic bag. Spray the seeds with the oil or dip into butter and drop them into the bag of seasonings. Then spread them out on parchment lined cookie and bake for about 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Immediately after seeds are removed from the oven, sprinkle with salt. Let cool and enjoy.
