Greatest Power of All Time

Meditate.

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. Ephesians 1:19-21

There have been a lot of gods over time…Buddha, Allah, Confucius, Apollo, Aphrodite, Ra and Vishnu, to name a few. But our God, Yahweh, is above all Gods and is so powerful that though other gods died like Jesus, only Jesus has been raised from the dead. God the Father is so powerful that He not only raised Jesus from the dead, Jesus will live forever in eternity. That is pretty powerful. Another beautiful promise that we have to look forward to is that this powerful God of ours will also raise up into eternal life all those who believe in Jesus as their Savior and the Son of God. That is an extraordinary promise. Paul was praying that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. Understand. That is deep. We can only hope that in His mercy that God will allow us to understand…to fathom…even a part of Him.

Oh, how great are God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the LORD's thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. Romans 11:33-36

As you strive to know more about God…and to have a deeper relationship with Him, pray that He will give you understanding. He is the greatest power of all time.

Prayer ~ Lord God, Help me understand the meaning of your commandments, and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds. Psalm 119:27.
