Meditate. Think clearly…don’t be duped, misled, err, misguided, or deceived.
So don't be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession. James 1:16-18
In
the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1. That
included all the lights in the heavens. Lights…stars. Stars can also be
symbolic of men and of angels. One thing we can count on whether we see those
lights as actual stars…whatever God created is good and perfect. That is how it
was in the beginning. No shifting shadows. God’s light shines in our hearts.
For God, who said, "Let there be light
in the darkness," has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know
the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians
4:6
God has a plan and is following it.
Remember the things I have done in the past.
For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me. Only I can tell you
the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I
do whatever I wish. Isaiah 46:9-10
God will do what He wishes. We can trust that His grace is sufficient for us…and that His plan gives us hope…for a bright and shining future and eternity with Him and our savior Jesus Christ in Heaven. Do you trust Him as your Father God to provide hope for your future? Don’t be misled.
Prayer ~ Father God, we thank you that Your light is pure…no shifting shadows. We have hope in You for a heavenly future…bright and shining forever. Help us to see You clearly in Your Word and not be deceived or misled.
Verse of Salvation ~ But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. 1 Thessalonians 5:8
