Meditate. Consider God always existing…and always knowing you.
This is the account of the creation of the heavens and the earth. When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth. For the LORD God had not yet sent rain to water the earth, and there were no people to cultivate the soil. Instead, springs came up from the ground and watered all the land. Then the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man's nostrils, and the man became a living person. Then the LORD God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made. Genesis 2:4-8
The
LORD God. This is transliterated or translated as Jehovah – which was
known as the proper name for the One true God—the existing One. Our God who is
beyond time. These verses above are merely an account of the creation. The name
LORD God is continually used
throughout the Bible as Yahweh or Jehovah.
Yahweh is the name that is transliterated from YHWH. It is
sometimes translated as Jehovah or the LORD. Jehovah is also used with other
describing words, such as Jehovah-rophe, Jehovah that heals. Still, God wanted
to be to be addressed as I AM (Genesis 3:14-15). That is just who He is. God
has existed forever… before time began.
Who is God to you? Is He the LORD God, Jehovah, or Yahweh? The great
I AM? Whoever He is to you, do you desire to know Him more—to have a deeper
relationship with Him? To seek Him first in all that you do in your life?
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and
live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33
Time is growing
short in each of our lives. Although each day is a gift from the Lord God, we
don’t know how much time we’ll actually have in our lives. We need to always be
prepared…and be ready.
You also must be ready all the time, for the
Son of Man will come when least expected. Matthew 24:44
Be prepared to tell
others about Christ and your relationship to Him…and to give an account of your
life.
Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of
your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to
explain it. 1 Peter 3:15
Young people, it's wonderful to be young!
Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But
remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.- Ecclesiastes
11:9
Are you ready?
Prayer ~ So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, we must arm ourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if we have suffered physically for Christ, we have finished with sin. From 1Peter 4:1 Lord God, give us courage to endure any suffering we must face.
Verse of Salvation ~ And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. 1 Peter 1:5
