Prayer ~ Father, I adore You. I praise You…and You alone are worthy of my praise. Open my eyes, my heart, and my mind to understand You and Your love even more.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and
knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully
complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I
was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the
womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your
book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious
are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! Psalm
139:13-17
Meditate. God’s workmanship is marvelous.
Relax and Reflect on God's Workmanship. You are wonderfully made. Manito Park Arboretum - Spokane WA |
The technician measured all
of his little bones…perfect. Oh my. Just thinking about it makes me tear up—not
cry—just watery eyes. Now sixteen years later, those bones are still growing,
strong and healthy. I praise the Lord for that…for Zander, his strong bones,
good mind, and willing spirit. He’s making progress on his Eagle Scout project
and has had a good year in school. He’ll be a junior in High School and a freshman
at a local Junior College in the fall. Smart kid and very motivated to do
well. Seems like only yesterday we were looking at the ultrasound and watching
him move his bitsy prenatal arms and legs. Amazing! God’s workmanship is
marvelous.
Verse of Salvation ~ Work hard to show the results of
your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in
you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
Philippians 2:12-13
Memory Verse of the Week - Thank you for making me so
