Can Anything Good Come From Nazareth?

When Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt. "Get up!" the angel said. "Take the child and his mother back to the land of Israel, because those who were trying to kill the child are dead." So Joseph got up and returned to the land of Israel with Jesus and his mother. But when he learned that the new ruler of Judea was Herod's son Archelaus, he was afraid to go there. Then, after being warned in a dream, he left for the region of Galilee. So the family went and lived in a town called Nazareth. This fulfilled what the prophets had said: "He will be called a Nazarene." Matthew 2:19-23

It was predicted that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, come out of Egypt and be a Nazarite.
 Bethlehem - Micah 5:2. Fulfilled in Matthew2:1-6
 Egypt - Hosea11:1. Fulfilled in 2:23
Nazareth - Isaiah 11:1 and Isaiah 53:3. Fulfilled in Matthew 2:23
     - "Nazareth!" exclaimed Nathanael. "Can anything good come from Nazareth?" "Come and see for yourself," Philip replied. John1:46
See for yourself. Search the scriptures for the prophesies and the completion of those predictions. If you're convinced yourself, then you will be able to share those facts with others. I recently read an article about a Jewish man who was always taught by his grandparents that the New Testament Bible of the Christians was evil lies, but when he read it for himself he discovered that it was written about Jews, by Jews, for Jews. He became a believer in Jesus as the Messiah. His Messiah. Soon after that he discovered that his father also became a believer. Something good did come out of Nazareth. Jesus the Messiah. He came for the Jews...and for the Gentiles. Is He your Messiah?

Prayer – Lord God, this is the beginning of a new  year...and another chance to learn about You--and share the truth that You are the Messiah. Shalom to all who read this.
