Peace in a World of Chaos

Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7

 

Where the Spirit of the Lord is…there is peace. Peace that goes beyond all understanding. Peace that takes away anxiety. Peace that initiates and encourages thankfulness. Peace that keeps you from thinking, saying or doing evil things. Peace that gives you a gentle spirit, caring and concerned for others’ safety and well-being. Peace…tranquility, serenity and harmony. Qualities which we long for in our lives…and that of our families, friends and neighbors. Peace that takes away the chaos of the world. How would you rate the level of peace in your life?
