Live Wisely

Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Colossians 4:5 NLT

Live wisely. Wisdom is… varied knowledge of things human and divine.
-        …the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. James 3:17
-        Who has put wisdom in the innermost being or given understanding to the mind? Job 38:36
-        The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever. Psalm 111:10
-        Know that wisdom is thus for your soul; if you find it, then there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 24:14
-        For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit…. 1 Corinthians 12:8
-        But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
Ask God for wisdom to make you wise—wise in Him. Use that knowledge and wisdom that He gives you  to tell others about Christ and what He has done for you. Can you make a list of what has He done for you?

After Jesus healed a demon possessed young man He said…"Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. Luke 8:39

We need to always be prepare…to be ready to witness for Christ. …but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence….1 Peter 3:15

Are you wisely preparing to tell others about what Jesus has done for you personally?

Prayer ~ Holy Spirit, give me wisdom and remind me specifically what Jesus has done for me. He died for me. Taking away my sin, He has given me confidence, wisdom and courage to speak up for myself and for Him. He healed my heart during times of depression and has given me a renewed hope for an eternal lifetime ahead with Him. He has blessed me with a loving family, my great husband, terrific children, wonderful grandchildren, encouraging, fun-loving friends and a compassionate church family. What more could I ask for? Thank you—for Your love.
