Prayer – Lord, please give me pure heart and hands that
I may have Your blessing and a great relationship with You.
The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it. The
world and all its people belong to him. For he laid the earth's foundation on
the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Who may climb the mountain of the
LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? Only those whose hands and hearts are
pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the
LORD's blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. Such
people may seek you and worship in your presence, O God of Jacob. Psalm
24:1-6
Meditate. Consider who may stand in God’s Holy Place.
Did you know that EVERYTHING belongs to the Lord? I’ve heard that mover and over for many years…most of my life. Nothing belongs to anyone—well its our stuff and we really need to take care of the things and people with whom God has entrusted us—but it ultimately all belongs to Him. That car in your driveway…His. That ring on your finger…His. That child that you are raising…His. Your home, business, TV, books, clothes…yes, everything is His. But you knew that.
