Prayer – Lord, You are a Rock. I know I can depend on and You will give me strength. No shifting sand—but rock, steady, pure, and strong. Thank you.
David's Rocks from the Elan Valley Israel Build your life on The Rock Strong Relationships need the Rock! |
Meditate. Consider God’s perfection.
God is faithful, just, upright and fair. Build your house…or your relationships…on the
rock. Jesus told His followers during His Sermon on the Mount about
building a strong foundation in their lives. Listen to His words.
I will show you what
it's like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows
it. It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation
on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it
stands firm because it is well built. But anyone who hears and doesn't obey is
like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep
down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins. Luke
6:47-49
Is your house, your relationship with God and with others, built
in a strong way? A foundation is the basis of a relationship. How do we build a
strong foundation? Gotta have rock not sand to construct a worthy relationship.
God is just, fair, faithful, upright, and perfect in everything He does. What
more could we need to give us strength and hope in our live? Perfect. He is the Rock!
Verse of Salvation ~ The LORD lives! Praise to my Rock!
