God’s Way Makes My Way Perfect

Prayer – Lord, perfection is hard to attain, but You are the living example of that…perfection. And You make my way perfect…because Your way is perfect. Life can be tough—I don’t expect perfection—but You offer it anyway. Thanks. 

God's way is perfect. All the LORD's promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock? God is my strong fortress, and he makes my way perfect. 2 Samuel 22:31-33

 

Meditate. Read God’s word and listen to what He is saying.

 

God’s way is perfect…but for each of us finding God’s way takes faith. Crossing that relationship bridge to God begins with believing that He is real, that the Bible is truth, and that Jesus, the Son of God, willingly gave His life, sacrificially, for the sins of mankind. That is you, me, and every person who ever lived, is living, or will live on this earth. Believing that takes faith.

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith. Philippians 3:8-9 (Underlined for emphasis.)

Faith. Faith in believing that bridge will hold your weight…and how faith in God and in His Way makes our way perfect. Our relationship…our willingness to be in a relationship with the Almighty God is key. Life will go on until it stops. Everyone has eternal life, but it is either in the presence of God—filled with protection, joy, peace, strength and love—or in the absence of God, filled with gnashing of teeth, fire and brimstone. Everyone has a choice. Faith is the key…the answer for a strong foundation. For me, God’s way makes my way perfect.

 

Verse of Salvation ~ In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD will be your treasure. Isaiah 33:6
