Prayer – Lord, You’ve known me forever—even before I was born. To me…that is amazing. Another thing that is almost beyond understanding is that You were there…and in fact created the world and the universe. The universe is immense and it goes beyond what humans can even detect. How great is that!?! Show me more of Yourself today, Lord Jesus, that I would continue to be in awe of You and this world You have established.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and
knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully
complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I
was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the
womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your
book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious
are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! Psalm
139:13-17
Meditate. Consider how God made you.
God established a relationship with each of us as He made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise Him for making each of us so wonderfully complex. Our relationship with Him is however we choose it to be. We can know Him intimately by sharing our hopes, expectations and dreams with Him…and including Him in each of those. According to this scripture passage, He has precious thoughts about you. Are your thoughts about Him treasured?

Confusion about the difference between herbs and spices?
Herbs are leaves
of low-growing shrubs which can be used fresh, dried, whole, ground or crushed.
Examples of herbs are: basil, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano, tarragon,
fennel fronds, coriander, cumin, dill, and celery leaves.
Spices are the
bark, roots, buds, seeds, berries or fruit of tropical plants and trees. Examples
of spices are: cinnamon (bark); ginger, onion, and garlic (root); lavender, cloves
and saffron (buds); yellow mustard, poppy, sesame, and fennel (seeds); black
pepper (berry); allspice and paprika (fruit).
For Christmas, I received a wonderful herb and spice blend
that included basil, rosemary, thyme, lavender, marjoram, parsley, fennel and tarragon.
It has been so tasty to add to meat and to fresh vegetable dishes. It is amazing
how just a sprinkle of herb, spices, or both can add a boost of flavor to any
dish. Try blending some of your own herb and spices for a tasty concoction. The
finer the grind of the seasonings, the more the flavor is released—but wait
until just before you use them to capture the best flavors.
