Who May Climb the Mountain of the Lord?

Prayer ~ Lord, help me today to keep the focus of my eyes, heart, and feet on You…as I attempt to climb up Your mountain. I want a great relationship with You. I’m willing to spiritually climb as high as I can, and offer You worship with my clean hands and pure heart. You are an awesome God—above all gods—worthy of my praise and adoration. You are the Savior of the world…You are my Savior.

Who may climb the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the LORD's blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. Such people may seek you and worship in your presence, O God of Jacob. Psalm 24:3-6

Meditate. How is your relationship today with the Lord?

From the Mount of Olives...
Looking towards the Temple Mount.
Jerusalem, Israel
Can you climb the mountain of the Lord?

God created us for a relationship with Him. Are you willing to give up anything to focus your time on Him…to give Him the attention, honor, and worship that He deserves today? Spiritually, are you willing to sacrifice whatever to put Him first in your life? If you were in Jerusalem, would you climb up the mountain to worship Him? Who may climb the mountain of the Lord?

Verses of Salvation ~ So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. So you must live as God's obedient children. Don't slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn't know any better then. 1 Peter 1:13-14

Memory Verse of the Week ~ For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
