Prayer ~ Lord God, I just want to live to please You. Please give me wisdom and discernment to see myself as You see me that I would be encouraging to others as I serve Christ with an attitude of goodness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Amen.
For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat
or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy
Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others
will approve of you, too. So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try
to build each other up. Romans 14:17-19
Meditate. Consider your servanthood attitude.
The Kingdom of God—The Kingdom of Heaven—is at hand. It has
been ever since Jesus began preaching…and people began to repent and be saved.
When Jesus heard
that John had been arrested, he left Judea and returned to Galilee. He went
first to Nazareth, then left there and moved to Capernaum, beside the Sea of
Galilee, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. This fulfilled what God said
through the prophet Isaiah: "In the land of Zebulun and of Naphtali,
beside the sea, beyond the Jordan River, in Galilee where so many Gentiles
live, the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. And for those who
lived in the land where death casts its shadow, a light has shined." From
then on Jesus began to preach, "Repent of your sins and turn to God, for
the Kingdom of Heaven is near." Matthew 4:12-17The Sea of Galilee
Israel
We don’t have to wait until we go to Heaven to experience
the Kingdom of God. We are part of that Kingdom the minute we acknowledge Jesus
Christ as our Savior. Just as Jesus said…“Repent of your sins and turn to
God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” That is what happens when someone recognized
recognizes that Jesus is the Son of God, that He is God, and realizes that
Jesus died specifically for their sins. Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your
Savior? Are you part of the Kingdom of God?
Verse of Salvation ~ Then I heard a loud voice shouting
across the heavens, "It has come at last—salvation and power and the
Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our
brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth—the one who accuses them
before our God day and night." Revelation 12:10
