What Are You Going Through?

Prayer ~ Lord Jesus, I come boldly before Your throne asking for your grace and mercy for myself and especially for friends who are going through a particularly challenging time. We know that You have told us that life won’t be easy…but You will never leave us or forsake us…and You will provide us with the strength to face the trials. Thank You.

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:14-16

Meditate. Consider how Jesus…our High Priest…understands our weakness—because He experienced the very trials and temptations that we do.

Trials--like cloudy days--are part of life.
Turn to Jesus for answers.
May you find strength and joy in Him.

What are the trials, temptations, and testing that you are experiencing? We are all faced with challenges and difficult situations that can drive us farther away from each other and from God, yet we make choices day by day that can affect all our relationships. I continually pray for wisdom for my children and grandchildren that they would have the strength to make the right decisions. Making the right decisions is critical…since one decision leads to another. What we believe…whether we believe in Jesus as our Savior…makes a difference in our choices. We must hold on to what we believe…and not be swayed by others around us, public opinions, or political viewpoints. Jesus, our High Priest, understands us better than we understand ourselves. He knows the weakness of all mankind…and of us individually. He offers us mercy…we just need to ask for it. Ask and you will receive.

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for…. Matthew 7:7a

And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. 1 John 3:22

Choose carefully the things for which you ask, but don’t hesitate to ask when you need the Savior’s help. Jesus loves you. If you ask, He will help you. He can supply all your needs. He has been exceptionally gracious, merciful, and generous to me time and time again. What are you going through?

Verse of Salvation ~ This is what the LORD says: "At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation, I will help you. I will protect you and give you to the people as my covenant with them. Through you I will reestablish the land of Israel and assign it to its own people again.” Isaiah 49:8

Memory Verse of the Week ~ But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19 KJV
