Do You Know the Great Secret?

Meditate. What does it mean to keep something secret?

This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God's people. For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. Colossians 1:26-28

God's Secret is older than this tree!

Paul wrote to the church at Colossae to encourage them, as Gentiles. They belonged to God—Christ lives in them, too. What a great assurance. For them and for us. That’s the great secret…the great mystery. Wow! God wants us to know His secret…His love for mankind…including the Gentiles. That is us. Christ is in us. Mystery revealed. Mystery solved. That empty hole in everyone’s hearts can be filled with God’s love…if we let Him in. His gift…but we have to accept it. The secret isn’t a secret anymore. We can have a relationship…a perfect relationship to Christ. He is our perfect savior living in us.

Share this secret with others…sooner rather than later.

Prayer ~ Thank You, Jesus, for revealing Yourself to us…for living in us.

Verse of Salvation ~ Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe. 1 Corinthians 1:21
