Meditate. Consider your faith in God.
And so it happened just as
the Scriptures say: "Abraham believed God, and God counted him as
righteous because of his faith." He was even called the friend of God. James
2:23
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will
actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews
11:1 (See the entire chapter of Hebrews 11 for examples of faith.)
How is your faith holding up these
days?
Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test
yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have
failed the test of genuine faith. 2 Corinthians 13:5
As you go through trials hopefully
your faith will be strengthened. Seek out other Christians and pray for each
other. The signs of the times show us that the time of the Rapture may be
nearer than we think. Keep your faith strong as you face trials….
Purified with fire.
And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power
until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day
for all to see. So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you
have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your
faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your
faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong
through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the
day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. You love him even though
you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice
with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the
salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:5-9
Salvation is the promise and reward—hang onto that and rejoice!
Prayer ~ As Jude, Jesus’
half-brother, wrote…But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your
most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of
our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will
keep yourselves safe in God's love. Jude 1:20-21
Verses of Salvation ~ The LORD says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation." Psalm 91:14-16
