Praise and Give Thanks

 Meditate.

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! 1 Chronicles 29:11-13

Do you see God working in your life? He is great, powerful, glorious, victorious and majestic. This scripture tells us that everything…yes,,,, Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom.    

On this day of Thanksgiving…give thanks to the one who owns everything and provides everything for us. God. Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His mercy is new every morning. Seek Him this morning…and all throughout the day.

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the LORD. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline: Let them sit alone in silence beneath the LORD's demands. Lamentations 3:22-28     

Find a few quiet moments today and seek the Lord with all your heart. Meditate on His words and give Him thanks. Praise Him!         

Prayer ~ A psalm of praise of David. I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise your name forever and ever. I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever. Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness. Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness. Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness. Psalm 145:1-7

Verse of Salvation ~ Cry out, "Save us, O God of our salvation! Gather and rescue us from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you." 1 Chronicles 16:35
