Kind Words for the Spirit

My child, eat honey, for it is good, and the honeycomb is sweet to the taste. In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. Proverbs 24:13-14

Diabetes does not allow the body to process sugar properly—so spiritually if a person could not process sweetness, they would be hardhearted, cold hearted, or bitter towards God and others.
Yet the spiritual aspect of diabetes may be the very wisdom that is sweetness to the soul that Solomon wrote about in Proverbs.
Kind words are like honey—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. Proverbs 16:24
Sweetness to the soul from kind words would reflect well on the Lord—with truth and honor. Kindness is one of the greatest characteristic—it is a fruit of the Spirit: kindness, goodness, gentleness…love, joy, peace, patience, faithfulness and self-control. Spiritual consideration of sweetness does not result in death…it results in life. Eternal life. Eternal life is a consequence of repentance and kind, sweet submission to the Lord. Hallelujah! The angels in Heaven rejoice over each sinner who has come to salvation. Let the Heavens rejoice!

Are you among those over whom the angels are rejoicing?

Prayer ~ Lord, You have given me a bright future, and my hope will not be cut short. Thank You.
