The LORD is righteous in everything He does;
He is filled with kindness. Psalm 145:17
God’s word speaks for itself. He is not
only kind…but wise.
Don't you see how wonderfully kind,
tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can't you
see that His kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? Romans 2:4
Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares
that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from
the penalty for our sins. Romans 3:24
Notice how God is both kind and severe. He
is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust
in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off. Romans
11:22
In His kindness God called you to share in His
eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little
while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a
firm foundation. 1 Peter 5:10
So we praise God for the glorious grace He
has poured out on us who belong to His dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and
grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our
sins. He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.
Ephesians 1:6-8
Kind, tolerant, sacrificial, supportive,
provider of strength, patient, powerful, and loving. Those are a few of the
qualities of our God. Who is He to you? Do you trust Him?
Prayer
~ Lord God, Thank You for Your generous and loving kindness to us. Help us to
be kind to others.
