Do you see
first and then believe…or believe first and then see? Seeing is sometimes with the
heart, not the eyes and the mind. Peter writes about “seeing” and “believing in”
Jesus. …and though you have not seen Him,
you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you
greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory….1 Peter 1:8. Just
knowing Jesus creates joy in our lives. Knowing what He gave up…and that He did
it for me—for us—is humbling…and yet creates a rejoicing deep in my heart. I
want to worship Him—in spirit and in truth—even though I can’t see Him right
now.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His
name together. Psalms 34:3.
RSVP: Jesus is offering you a blessing…if you believe in
Him without seeing Him. Will you see Him for who He is and exalt His name with
me?
Prayer ~ Jesus, Blessed are You. O God, You are
awesome from Your sanctuary. The God of Israel Himself gives strength and power
to the people. Blessed be God! Psalms 68:35. May You have mercy on Your people
of Israel—keeping them safe from harm as they live with trials and tribulations
of battles now in the land You have given them. May they “see” You for who You
are…Messiah…and believe.
