Will You Suffer Persecution?

Meditate.

And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering. In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you. And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 1:5-8

God will use persecution to see who is really on His side…to make you worthy of His Heavenly Kingdom. So stand up for Jesus and for yourself. Don’t be deceived or weak.

Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong! 1 Peter 3:17

Light your lamp and let it shine for Jesus.
He is worthy of your love.
Jesus loved you enough to die for you!

If the time comes that you must face a firing squad or guillotine—know that God is with you and it is better to die for Christ than to live in eternity without Him.

Prayer ~ Lord, thank you for always being with me. I know you won’t abandon me because You have promised that. Please give strength to those who are persecuted or will go through persecution.

Verse of Salvation ~ Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit. - 1 Peter 3:18
