Did you catch that the names were not written in the Book of Life before
the world was made? Underlined for emphasis. Before the world
was made. If those names were not written—what names or whose names were
written in the Book of Life before the world was made? Before the
world was even created, God planned what was going to happen and who were His
chosen people—although He gave us freedom of choice.
For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did
this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before
the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. 2
Timothy 1:9 (Underlined for emphasis.)
In the beginning of time...
God created the heavens...
He create you.
Where do you fit in His plan?
All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through
Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his
before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. Jude
1:25 (Underlined for emphasis.)
For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them
to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many
brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him.
And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having
given them right standing, he gave them his glory. Romans 8:29-30 (Underlined
for emphasis.)
Did God write your name in His Book of Life before time began? Those who believe in Jesus as their Savior will have their names written in the Book of Life. Might be a good time to make sure your relationship is right with God.
Prayer ~ Lord God, You are amazing. Your wisdom is beyond my comprehension—and yet I believe in Your plan…and since I believe in Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, I trust that my name is written in Your Lamb’s Book of Life.
Verse of Salvation ~ Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. For "Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved." But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? Romans 10:12-14
