Who Will Stand Before God’s Throne?

Meditate.

I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God's throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. ... And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:12, 15

Who will stand before God’s throne? All the dead…great and small. They will be judged. Everyone will be judged…or will they?

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. John 3:17-19 (Underlined for emphasis.)

-        If we live, it's to honor the Lord. And if we die, it's to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Christ died and rose again for this very purpose—to be Lord both of the living and of the dead. So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. For the Scriptures say, "'As surely as I live,' says the LORD, 'every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess and give praise to God.'" Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. Romans 14:8-12 (Underlined for emphasis.)

Cross at a heritage site in Israel
The trees are not tall in Israel.
So just be sure that you believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior—for that assures you that your name will be written in the Book of Life, and your eternal home will be in Heaven, not the Lake of Fire. You can be assured that if, as a believer, you stand before the throne of God, Jesus will be right there with you—acknowledging you before our Father. He has taken your sins to the cross—and they have been paid for. You are pure and free. Stand before the throne—and exalt the name of Jesus.

Prayer ~ Lord…Who can say, "I have cleansed my heart; I am pure and free from sin"? - Proverbs 20:9. I can only say that because You, dear Lord Jesus, obediently went to the cross for me—as the sacrificial lamb. Thank You. Now my name is written in the Book of Life.

Verse of Salvation ~ If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced." Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. Romans 10:9-12
