Meditate.
The beast you saw was once alive but isn't now. And yet he will soon come up out of the bottomless pit and go to eternal destruction. And the people who belong to this world, whose names were not written in the Book of Life before the world was made, will be amazed at the reappearance of this beast who had died. Revelation 17:8
Looking at this scripture may be sort of confusing for some folks. Who is the “beast” and what is the “bottomless pit” and what does that have to do with me? It is all prophesy dealing with the antichrist and God’s punishment of him. The important thing is what kind of people are you? Do you belong to this world or do you belong to God…as part of His adopted family? The group you are in will make the difference in whether your name is written in the Book of Life. The names of those who belong to the world are not written in the Book of Life. God’s chosen people’s names are written in the Book of Life.
