Transformation

Meditate on this Scripture:
But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53

Do you like secrets? Is dying is easy? Is living is hard? I love the way Paul reveals the secret of Gospel to the Corinthians. Those who believe will be transformed. Instantly changed from death to life—eternal life. Are you listening for the trumpet sound? It will be the last trumpet sound. In the book of Isaiah God reveals in prophesy that in the end times all the Israelites will be brought back into their land…one at a time. Then there will be a great trumpet sound.
Yet the time will come when the LORD will gather them together like handpicked grain. One by one he will gather them--from the Euphrates River in the east to the Brook of Egypt in the west. In that day the great trumpet will sound. Many who were dying in exile in Assyria and Egypt will return to Jerusalem to worship the LORD on his holy mountain. Isaiah 27:12-13
Trumpet sound. Instant change. No more dying—just living forever if you believe. Wait. Does that believing include Jews? Jews are God’s chosen people, so I assume they are “included.”

Transformed like the butterfly.
New Life.
We will not all die. Hallelujah. Are you listening for the trumpet and are you ready to be transformed? Actually there will be several trumpets blown. It is that last one that is the secret transforming trumpet.
When the seventh angel blows his trumpet, God's mysterious plan will be fulfilled. It will happen just as he announced it to his servants the prophets.  Revelation 10:7

Prayer ~ Lord, I eagerly wait to hear your shout and the trumpet sound. Let it be, but in Your mercy, I understand that You don’t want anyone to perish.
The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 2 Peter 3:9
For You, Lord, will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. 1 Thessalonians 4:16.
Let it be.
