Meditate on this Scripture today.
What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever. But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. 1 Corinthians 15:50-53
Do you like it when someone shares a great secret with you? Of course you do! God shared a wonderful secret with us...in Paul's message to the church at Corinth. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! Transformed. Molecules rearranged--changed forever. Immortality. Our bodies won't last forever...but spiritually we will last forever. Listen for that trumpet sound. Those who have already died will rise from their graves--they won't miss out. They get to go first. Up. Up and away! Then those who are still living will be transformed. In the twinkling of an eye...don't blink or you'll miss it. I hope you don't miss it. Don't be left behind when Christ returns. Life on earth will not be pleasant--with all God's people transformed into immortal souls and removed from this world. Only evil will be left behind. Look to the Lord now for your salvation.
Prayer ~ Lord Jesus, we are listening for that trumpet sound...and waiting for Your return. May those who don't know You as their Savior open their hearts to You even now so that when You do return--whether they are alive or dead--they will be transformed into immortal beings. We praise You.
