Joy for the Peace Makers

Blessed (enjoying enviable happiness, spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the makers and maintainers of peace, for they shall be called the sons of God! Matthew 5:9 Amplified

Happy are the people who pursue peace for God esteems them as His own children. They are obedient to the Father’s will…and live in a way that brings calmness to themselves and others. Peace. Shalom. Contentment. Completeness. Harmony. Tranquility. It is a quality of the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Can we ever attain true peace? Peace with other nations, with other people, with ourselves? With God’s help, we can. And with that peace comes joy—deeply reverent happiness. True peace—true contentment. Need peace? Ask for it and you will receive it. Pray.

RSVP:  Jesus is inviting you to seek and find His peace—and to make peace with others. How will you respond to Him today?

Prayer ~ Jesus, lead me into paths of righteousness, for Your name sake. May those paths guide me through the shadowy valleys—so that I may not fear death or be overcome by the trials of life—for there are always trials and tribulations. But bring to me, my family, friends, and neighbors peace. A sweet peace that can come only from You.  May You continue to give this sweet peace to friends…Mary W., Teri and Fred, and to others…P,G, and J.
