Who Do You Go To?

Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. "We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God." Jesus answered them, "Did I Myself not choose you, the twelve, and yet one of you is a devil?" Now He meant Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray Him. John 6:68-71

To whom indeed? What other is there? Before His crucifixion Jesus was talking with His disciples and He said…"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." John 14:6. Peter recognized that Jesus was the Son of God much earlier than the other disciples and he was very vocal about that revelation.  I often pray that I could have the boldness of Peter—I’m more of a meek, introverted person. If we were all like Peter, everyone would know that Jesus is God, our Creator, our Savior, and our Lord. Do you still need to be convinced? To whom do you turn in times of joy or sorrow? Where do you look for eternal life?

RSVP: Jesus is offering us knowledge that He is the Son of God, the Holy One—our Redeemer and Savior. Will you choose to respond to Him, as Lord of your life or be like Judas and betray Him?

Prayer~ Lord Jesus, You are my Lord, my Savior, my Redeemer. Please give me the boldness of Peter that I can speak out for You.

Happy Birthday, Debbie. May God continue to bless you with His amazing creativity!
