The Time is Now

Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man. John 5:25-27

The dead will hear. Those dead spiritually? Our God is a spiritual being...so it makes sense that Jesus was talking about those who are spiritually dead hearing His voice...hearing His words of life and come alive. Spiritually. There is such a spiritual dimension to our life. Have you seen some of the previews for current movies? Now there are some freaky spiritual forces at work. One movie that I am really looking forward to seeing the Noah's Ark movie, NOAH, that will come to theaters on March 28th. The people of Noah's time faced judgment for their evil ways--death by water. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 6:8). What will it take for us to find grace in the eyes of the Lord? 

RSVP: Jesus is offering us an invitation to hear His voice. Will you open your ears and your heart to hear Him?

Prayer~ Lord Jesus, I listen carefully to what You, for You speak peace to Your faithful people. Let us not return to foolish ways, as it says in Psalms 85:8 NLT.
