Prayer – Lord, You’ve rescued me and answered my prayers so many times—and I praise You for that. Most of all, I am grateful for Your salvation. You are great! I am filled with joy.
Please, God, rescue me! Come quickly, LORD, and help
me. May those who try to kill me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who
take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace. Let them be horrified by
their shame, for they said, "Aha! We've got him now!" But may all who
search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your
salvation repeatedly shout, "God is great!" But as for me, I am poor
and needy; please hurry to my aid, O God. You are my helper and my savior; O
LORD, do not delay. Psalm 70:1-5As the sun rises each morning...
choose to obey our God.
God is great...and greatly to be praised!
Meditate.
…may all who search for you be filled with
joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout,
"God is great!"
On this Sabbath day, reflect on how great God is to you…to your
family, friends and neighbors. He truly is amazing, worthy of our praise and worship.
God is love (1John 4:8), yet He is powerful. He has and will destroy those who reject,
oppose, or blatantly disobey Him. You don’t want to be on the wrong side of
God. We all have the choice to obey or not obey God. He not only desires, but
requires, purity in order for anyone to approach Him. As we repent and obey we
can stand before God pure. The choice is ours. Humble purity, or a selfish wickedness
opposing God’s plan.
Now all glory to
God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great
joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who
alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty,
power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond
all time! Amen. Jude 1:24-25
Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him, all
creatures hear below. Praise Him above the heavenly hosts. Praise Father, Son
and Holy Spirit.
Verses of Salvation ~ So we must listen very carefully
to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. For the message God
delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law
and every act of disobedience was punished. So what makes us think we can
escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord
Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak? And God
confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and
gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose. Hebrews 2:1-4
