God's purpose was that we Jews who were the first to
trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God. Ephesians 1:12
And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing
can be added to it or taken from it. God's purpose is that people should fear
him. Ecclesiastes
3:14
God's purpose in all this was to use the church to
display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities
in the heavenly places. Ephesians
3:10
Those who
love God and are …called according to his purpose for them. God’s
original purpose seemed to be for the Jewish people…but then it was for all
mankind…for all who respect (fear) Him and love Him. Those are the ones who He
uses…who He calls into action and makes things work out for good. They may not
see the actual “good” but never the less, it is happening. God is allowing His
goodness, faithfulness, kindness, gentleness, self-control, patience, peace,
joy and ultimately His love to flow into and through those who love Him. The
Holy Spirit is indwelling those who are called
according to his purpose for them and He is gifting them with qualities
that will bring forth those very qualities to bless other people. Are you
willing to be filled by the Holy Spirit and used by our very own Heavenly
Father and His only Son, our Savior? Do you see God working in and through your
life?

Prayer
~ Jesus…as You spoke to a crowd..."He who believes in Me, does not believe
in Me but in Him who sent Me. He who sees Me sees the One who sent Me. I have
come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not
remain in darkness. If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not
judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He who
rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I
spoke is what will judge him at the last day. For I did not speak on My own
initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to
what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life;
therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me." John
12:44-50 NASB. Glory be to the Father. Bringing glory to our Heavenly Father was Your purpose Lord. May that glory shine on the Father...and on You.
