Everything we have comes from the Lord.
Everything.
The earth is the LORD's, and everything in
it. The world and all its people belong to him. Psalm 24:1

With that in mind, as we tithe or give…we
are just giving back to the Lord what is rightfully His.
One-tenth of the produce of the land,
whether grain from the fields or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD and
must be set apart to him as holy. Leviticus 27:30
Go beyond just possessions. All our time,
energy…everything is from the Lord. Can we honor God by giving back a portion
to Him?
Prayer
~ Lord God, Just as Ezra wrote about David singing to the Lord, I worship and
honor You. “Give to the LORD the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and
come into his presence. Worship the LORD in all his holy splendor.” 1
Chronicles 16:29
