God keeps His promises. The book of Daniel was written in about 537 BCE—that is over 2500 years ago. Even then Daniel and others recognized that God is awesome. Just the mere creation of the earth, the sky, the seas and everything on it or in it is overwhelming. He is so creative and imaginative. When He made covenants with people, like Abraham, He kept His word. Perfection. Perfect love. What an example for us all.
Clearly, God's promise to give the whole
earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God's
law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith. Romans 4:13
Relationship is the key. How is your
relationship with the Lord? In order to establish a relationship, a person must
believe in Jesus Christ as their personal savior…and as God’s Son. Then to keep
that relationship going and growing we need to learn more about God—the Father,
Son and Holy Spirit. Best way I know to obtain more information about God is by
reading His word…the Bible. Open it and see for yourself!
Prayer
~ Lord, You are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill Your covenant
and keep Your promises of unfailing love to those who love You and obey Your
commands. I love You, Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sin…and for being my
Savior for all eternity.
