Don’t Walk Around Dead

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11

 

Life to mortal bodies. Do you sometimes feel like you are like the dead walking? Either so tired that you can hardly move…or just not motivated to do anything? Here’s a promise that is just for you…God will give LIFE to your mortal body through the Holy Spirit that lives in you! New life. He raised Jesus from the dead…and one day, believing in Him, you will be raised, too. On that Day of the Lord. In the meantime your body can have life and have it abundantly—like Jesus promised in John 10:10...The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. We don’t have to walk around like we’re dead.

 

Prayer ~ Holy Spirit, refresh my life with the abundant life that Jesus promised. Give me new life that I may share the joy and hope of life with my family, friends and neighbors.
