What a promise from God…take away the heart
of stone and give them a heart of flesh! That would be a loving heart. Good thing
to reflect on this Valentine’s Day. My wish for everyone is a new heart—one filled
with the Spirit of God—one that would make each and every one of us more
loving. It is love that cures the inner ills of the world—that heals the
brokenhearted and changes attitudes. Attitudes are what makes or breaks a
relationship. Can you be accepting of others faults? Are you willing to put
others first?
Therefore if there is any encouragement in
Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the
Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the
same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard
one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your
own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude
in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus…. Philippians 2:1-5.
So…Happy Valentine’s Day to every one
reading this. May God richly bless you as you serve others in His love.
Prayer
~ Holy Spirit…May you fill each heart with Your love and grace and guide each
of us in living the way that You would have us to live…with LOVE.
Please keep praying for Baby Julia--a healing touch to this precious little one.
