Isaiah wrote this…and Jesus said it in the synagogue
in Nazareth near the beginning of His ministry. We have the Trinity here…the Lord
God (the Father), Jesus and the Spirit (the Holy Spirit). Jesus was anointed by
the Holy Spirit when He was baptized…Jesus,
full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the
Spirit in the wilderness…for forty days….Luke 4:1. Jesus came to do the
work and will of the Heavenly Father…For
this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes
in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day. John
6:40. Believe in the Son. That is the Good News. Eternal life for those who
believe in Jesus as the Son of God. So this is your opportunity. Do you
believe?
Prayer
~ Holy Spirit, You are amazing, awesome and astounding. You have anointed
countless people throughout the ages…including Jesus. May Your Spirit rest
within the hearts of those who read this that they would be drawn to You—Father,
Son and Holy Spirit—that they would believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Heal their hearts.
