Prayer – Lord, Your faithfulness to mankind just blows me away! I am amazed that You continue to love and forgive us even after we have been disobedient and disrespectful to You and others. Open my heart so that I can truly give thanks to You, Lord, for all You have done—and to be as compassionate as You.

Meditate. Consider God’s faithful love towards us.
Give thanks to the Lord or some variation of that is
repeated twelve times in this Psalm. His faithful love endures forever occurs
twenty-six times. That’s a lot of love—and that’s just how God is—loving.
Always loving towards mankind—especially to those who love Him and are called
according to His purpose. His love is unfailing.
The faithful love of
the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Lamentations 3:22
Understand,
therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who
keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love
