Rejoice!

Meditate.

This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

The Lord didn’t stop creating after that first week of creation that is recorded in Genesis. He continues to make days. He doesn’t let the sun grow cold…or we wouldn’t have any more days. 

Rejoice! This is the day that the Lord has made…just like any day…yesterday…today...or tomorrow. The days are all the same. God doesn’t change. The days don’t change. Seasons change…the length of the days varies…but they are still just like God created them. This is the day that the Lord created. Rejoice and be glad in it. You have a choice…rejoice or not. When we are rejoicing and praising the Lord—there is no desire to pout. We cannot simultaneously pout and praise. 

Prayer ~ Lord God, You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you! I give thanks to You, LORD, for You are good! Your faithful love endures forever. From Psalm 118:28-29

Verse of Salvation ~ May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation--the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God. Philippians 1:11
